[Gimp-user] How to stretch part of an object

I have an image of a building. I would like to stretch the building to make it
taller without distorting the top of it. How can this be done in GIMP?
I've attached the image. I know this would probably be easier in something like
sketchup but hoping there's a way to accomplish it in Gimp.
