[Gimp-user] Print enlarged image

I'm a brand new GIMP user and can't figure out how to enlarge an image and then
print that enlarged image. When I increase the size and try to print it, it
still prints in the original size.

 I want to use GIMP to manipulate image sizes for wood carving patterns.
