[Gimp-user] can't resize vertical dimension of gimp

That is correct. I erred in clicking "Add attachment" thinking I had to do that
to attach the screenshot I had already uploaded. Little did I know that the mail
user program would then insist on another attachment and not give me the
opportunity to re-attach my screenshot.

That worked well!  I just needed to  Edit>Preferences>Window Mgmt>Reset to
Defaults then restart gimp.
