To Jim Welch: see the "List membership" link on every email from the 
mailing list (e.g. this one).

Idea for the list manager(s): perhaps the sig can be updated to be more 
clear. It may not be clear to some that "list membership" lets you 
unsubscribe from the list. Perhaps changing that copy to "TO UNSUBSCRIBE 
FROM LIST MESSAGES, CLICK HERE AND SCROLL TO THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE: " 
or something in that vein. Even if they click the link, most of the page 
is a sign-up page, and the unsubscribe button is placed under the admin 
login -- not easy to find.
