[Gimp-user] How do I trim or add x pixels from/to every edge?

Perhaps Tux was a bad example, I generally screen items with a lot more detail.
Text, vines, gears and things, stuff like that. Your point is valid on a simple
item like Tux, but I didn't want to complicate matters by talking about
something more complex.

Assuming you don't want the fabric of the Tee to show through anywhere
in
the interior of the tux, you only need one solid white screen of the
whole
tux with no bleed. Overprint the yellow details then the black.

Or, put the white down in the area where you need white and yellow.
Overprint the yellow on, then the black.

Possibly try the Erode or Dilate commands?

Or make a selection of all of the areas based on color, then use
selection
Grow or Shrink?
