hi all - newbie here
Using Gimp in opensuse 42.1. I would like to install batch image
manipulation programme BIMP. I can only find the vesion for windows.
Please advise where I can download the linux version
many thanks
Have you tried
https://software.opensuse.org/package/gimp-plugin-bimp?search_term=bimp
I do not use OpenSuse, so no comments on that.
I do use PClinuxOS, a rpm based distro same as 'Suse and the problem with BIMP
is it uses a outdated Perl package libpcre3 which is AFAIK peculiar to Debian.
So for PClinuxOS, compiled the BIMP plugin in Debian and 'stole' the
libpcre.so.3 file to manually install.
BIMP in my gimp profile, the other in usr/lib...
That works fine here but no guarantees for 'Suse.
