[Gimp-user] problems with the tart og gimp2 program

Dear gimp users,
as a simple user trying to  combine two photos to put people of one on the
other photo i downloaded the GIMP program , but i dont find an .exe file to
start.
Can some one give me a help to start the program and my be show me how to
do that operation.
