[Gimp-user] Help changing to white background

Hi,

i aggree with scl's first suggestion - use the intelligent scissor tool
But i would copy the selection into a own layer, and delete this selection in
the actual layer.
You are more flexible (maybe you want to save the image, you can save the layers
too, but you cant save the selection)
