[Gimp-user] GIMP 2.8.0 WIN32 - Very Slow

Experienced the same but it appears to be the slowest esp when editing large images (over 2000x2000).  Using 
the rectangle selection tool is ultra slow and sometimes I have to reselect and anchor multiple times before 
it actually works.

CPU: Intel i7 Quad-Core 2.67GHz
Mem: 4GB
Graphics: ATI Radeon HD 4870 (1GB)
