[Gimp-user] a question about drwaing circles!

i have a question, imaging im in terrible hurry to draw an empty circle around a text and go on for others, 
whats the fastest way???

i already know some ways, for example: using "Border" (in Select menu) or "Stroke Selection" (in Edit menu)
i want the "fastest way", those two ways need too many delays.

my teacher read the book fast and i should draw as fast as him.
