Plugins and scripts get reset to the default every time you re-start GIMP. There isn't really a way round
this other than hacking the default values in the SCM itself
If you open up the SCM in a text editor and scroll down to the bottom you can change the default values. The
ones marked SF-ADJUSMENT and SF-TOGGLE. For the Adjustment, the first figure in brackets is the default
value, for the Toggle you can set TRUE or FALSE
If you don't want to do that you could try just writing down the settings, so you don't have to remember them.
