Could I add a request for the OS X developement? Please, PLEASE, support

There are some bug reports about this, for example

The last comment there mentions that this needs GTK+ 3:
"This should be fixed when gimp is ported to GTK3 and when GTK3 finally supports
hi-dpi monitors."
