There seem too be some problems with non-wacom graphic tablets. Mine is from Hanvon (AM 0806) and doesn't work correctly as well. However, it wasn't the change from XP to 7, but from gimp 2.6.x to 2.8.
Unfortunately I wasn't able to test the setup under XP but I'll do that as soon as possible. Could you test whether your tablet works with win7 and gimp 2.6.x and, if possible also with a xp/2.8-setup? Maybe we'll be able locate the bug a little bit more exactly this way.

Es scheint ein paar Probleme mit Grafiktabletts zu geben, die nicht von Wacom kommen. Ich hab eins von Hanvon (AM 0806) das auch nicht richtig läuft. Bei mir war's aber nicht der Wechsel von XP auf 7, sondern von Gimp 2.6.x auf 2.8.
Leider konnte ich das Ganze noch nicht auf XP testen, aber ich versuch das möglichst bald nachzuholen. Kannst du mal probieren, ob dein Tablet unter win7 mit Gimp 2.6.x läuft und, wenn möglich, auch nochmal mit einem XP/2.8-Setup? Vielleicht können wir den Bug so etwas enger eingrenzen.

I've got a problem with my MEDION graphic tray (MSN:5503 9347).
I want to draw in grayscale with my Windows 7 computer.
In Windows XP it was no problem, but I cant do that under Windows 7.
I think that it's the driver, wich supports the graphic tray
as a mouse instead of a graphic tray.
I have asked MEDION already, but they said, I have to
ask the software producers.

in Graustufen zeichnen.
Leider bekomme ich das unter Windows 7 nicht mehr hin.
Ich vermute mal, dass es am Treiber leigt, welcher das Grafiktablett
scheinbar als Maus, und nicht als Grafiktablett erkennt.
Ich habe mich schon an MEDION gewandt, habe aber nur
gesagt bekommen, ich soll mich an Softwarehersteller wenden.
