GIMP 2.8.* dev from git.

Some weird behaviour...

1)Rect select tool

2)Image menu->Select->All

3)(You _have_ to) Clic on the image (to see the selection ... why?)

4)Appears for a moment a void selection and then, if you move on the
  image border, at least you see the selection hadlers

Is it all correct? Is it a "feature"? If it is, why?

Ubuntu 12.04 amd64...
