Re: [gexiv2] Ubuntu 16.04 Different Install Location

I edited debian/gir1.2-gexiv2-0.10.install and reran the compile and install steps and that did not place the GExiv2-0.10.typelib into /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/girepository-1.0/

The only way I can get python to use the compiled GExiv2 is to manually copy GExiv2-0.10.typelib to /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/girepository-1.0/

Ubuntu 16.04 install location is /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/girepository-1.0/GExiv2-0.10.typelib

Building from source doesn't install correctly without editing debian/gir1.2-gexiv2-0.10.install

Is there a way to specify a flag during make install to have the typelib file copied to the right directory or is better to just edit debian/gir1.2-gexiv2-0.10.install?

Thanks,
