[gexiv2] Ubuntu 16.04 Different Install Location

Ubuntu 14.04 install location is /usr/lib/girepository-1.0/GExiv2-0.10.typelib
Ubuntu 16.04 install location is /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/girepository-1.0/GExiv2-0.10.typelib
Building from source doesn't install correctly without editing debian/gir1.2-gexiv2-0.10.install
Is there a way to specify a flag during make install to have the typelib file copied to the right directory or is better to just edit debian/gir1.2-gexiv2-0.10.install?
