"make tests" right now is pretty barebones -- a simple little program to dump all tags in an image file and nothing more. It was produced for ensuring gexiv2 works more-or-less like Exiv2. We do not recommend installing or distributing this binary, as it's not ready for prime time. "make tests" requires that gexiv2 be installed before running. That's something we should check: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=723790 I suppose we could also support --includedir (is there a --libdir as well?), but as "make tests" is really only for developers at the moment, I don't think it's necessary.
Ok. I'll skip tests for the time being. I don't see a --libdir in the valac man page on my Fedora 20 system. gexiv2 is installed in the buildroot before we run tests (The tests are run after make and make install). The test should find the installed files in the standard locations just fine. I'll dig up and see if I can figure this one out. -- Thanks again, Warm regards, Ankur (FranciscoD) http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/User:Ankursinha Join Fedora!
