[gedit-list] Plugin doesn’t get signal from shortcut at all (3.14 -> 3.22)

Trying to update gedit plugin which perfectly worked on 3.14 
(even with Python 2.7) and now gedit 3.22.0 does not seem to 
even activate the action on pressing the shortcut. Code at 
https://gitlab.com/mcepl/gedit-reflow-plugin/tree/rhel7 does not 
print on stdout the 'Reflowing!' messsage.

Is there anywhere a list of APIs changed between 3.12 and 3.22?
