[gedit-list] Date format

The Gedit function to insert a date (EDIT > Insert Date and time...) has a superb range of date formats. But not, as luck would have it, the one I need to use.

My date format needs to be as: 18 JAN 2012

I can't see this in the list. There is a custom format. Is there something I can put in the custom field to get the desired result?
