[gedit-list] GLib-GIO-ERROR **: Settings schema 'org.gnome.gedit.plugins' is not installed

Hello.

I compiled gedit on Slackware 13.37, after installing and upgrading
all the necessary gnome libraries.

However, I get this error when starting gedit:

GLib-GIO-ERROR **: Settings schema 'org.gnome.gedit.plugins' is not installed

Do I need to edit a config file somewhere?
