[gedit-list] Can anyone build a new gedit binary for Windows?

The windows binary I found posted is ver 2.30.1 which is nearly a year and a
half old. I would love to try a newer version (perhaps the latest beta
version or at least something that starts with 3.). So I looked at the build
instructions but it looks beyond my skill level to manage a build. Has
anyone built a reasonably recent version that they are willing to share, or
if not is anyone with the experience to easily make a windows build willing
to create a new window binary and post the result?

If anyone can do this ... I would much appreciate it.
