[gedit-list] Gedit validation for Mallard documents

Hi All,

On IRC the other day, one of the gedit devs mentioned that the gedit developers may be interested in creating a plugin (or a gedit feature) that would help validate Mallard documents.

I spoke with Shaun McCance about this, and he said that the basic tools that would be needed would be xmllint and Mallard's RelaxNG schema. The XML schema will be marked as 1.0 soon, and he'll have an installable schema tarball available at that time.

Do you think a plugin or feature to validate Mallard documents be something that would be doable for the 3.2 release?
