[gedit-list] change default language

Hi,

I am living in Ireland, I downloaded and installed "gedit" text editor, but it's language is now in Irish(which I don't speak). How do I change to back to English?

(I have it at home an an Ubuntu laptop and it's fine in English, but in work I have to use Windows and that's the one stuck in Irish).

Any advice is appreciated, many thanks.
