currently, if 2 documents are open in one instance of gedit, there is
the tab bar,
but i think it would be quite convienient if you could view both side
by side, for example, like the new versions of nautilus that come with
ubuntu 10.04, which to my understanding are not available with ubuntu
9.10.
but anyway, if you could develop this, i would be most happy.
We are currently developing this. git master already contains tab groups
(you can have multiple notebooks and view 'different' files side by
side). nacho is now working on actually splitting a file (i.e. two views
of the same file).
that,
and document highlighting for apache files would be great.
There is a language file for that in bugzilla, I think it can actually
be committed:
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=612368
thanks again,
Benjamin
