currently no, but Kwrite (another GNU word processor) is able to deal correctly
with IDL source code. A good Idea would be to look at source code of kwrite and
port this feature into Gedit. I can at least look at kwrite code and try to
figure out how it deals with highlighting. Anyway, I am not a programmer, so
is there anywhere some tutorial of any help about Gedit patches ?
