Wow, that looks like a cool app. I do know SciTE can do the rectangular region (block) cut & paste using the mouse, and of course vim and others can do all this non-visually. But I don't think there is a Linux text editor that  duplicates Sudden. That would be a cool project. But I suppose that's off topic for this list.
