None that I know of.

It is planned (it requires writing a new DocumentLoader/Saver and some
work to convert the plugins) but nobody has taken the ball yet.

Gedit doesn't depend directly on bonobo. AFAIK, it only brings the
dependency because of gconf and libgnome.
