Hi there,

I'm also writing on a LaTeX plugin (in python). Look at
http://www.michaels-website.de/latex.html for an early preview.

The plugin focuses on four components:

* a tree view displaying the document structure [works fine but could be
faster]
* a chooser providing access to often used LaTeX symbols (math, greek
etc) [already implemented]
* dialogs assisting in building up LaTeX constructions (new doc, table,
graphics etc) [only a few implemented]
* a wrapper for the LaTeX compile commands, also translating error
messages [very basic yet]

Help is always welcome ;) (and propably needed)
