[Geary] HTML Signatures?

hi, is this supported yet?

i created ~/.local/share/geary/account_01/signature.html

not working.

i googled 'geary email "html signature" ', and found a couple things, but no solution. 

i read thru this thread from 2014. do i need to apply a patch?
