This will make it much easier to contribute code to Geary, since Gitlab has a modern workflow that integrates source code, bugs, and merge requests together quite nicely, and also has support for continuous integration for automatic code testing and quality checks. I've been working with the GNOME sysadmin team to improve the bug importation process a bit, so once that's all sorted out the migration will be able to start.
