Thanks for responding to my message.

I will try and keep the things you have stated in mind whenever I need to search for a message in future.

Is it possible to declare a particular message in a thread to be the all-important one when I mark the thread with a star ? That way when I click the thread in the middle-pane, the preview in the right pane will pop-up with the all-important message already visible and there would no need to rummage. Essentially the point is I would like to be able to find the important message just by scrolling up-down the middle pane with my keyboard, without having to bother about thread collapse or the contents of the right pane.
