Re: [Geary] Poll: Instant search vs single-keystroke commands

Mike,

Great idea - I just filled out the survey.  Could you summarize the results here once a few days have passed?

Hi all, I just put together a short survey regarding instant search vs single-keystroke commands. It's really short, so please go fill it out. :) https://goo.gl/forms/s3ciHdz6Gb0EeU1k1 Instant search is when you start typing into the window and it automatically launches a search for what you have been typing. GNOME3 apps such as Music and Nautilus are examples of this. Single-keystroke commands let you perform actions by typing a single letter without needing to hold down <Control>, e.g: 'a' to archive, or 'm' to move a conversation, and so on. Both can be quite useful, but unfortunately they directly conflict, so Geary can only only implement one or the other. This poll is non-binding (all care taken, no guarantee given, etc.) but would be useful to get an idea of what you all think. Ta! //Mike
