I will test the patch but I have some problems to compil geary on my

Great, thanks. Hopefully the patch resolves both the resizing issue and
755359 for you, I'm keen to hear if that is the case.
It seems I miss some dependencies but I cannot figure what (and geary
is installed when I use apt-get install).
This looks like a dependency mis-match between the version of Geary you
are building (git master?) and the stable version packaged in Debian
(probably 0.11.x) that `apt-get build-dep` is installing the
requirements for.
I'd suggest trying the patch out against the stable version instead of
the development verson, since there's been some changes there that
could possibly make going back to stable a bit tricky afterwards. So
either checkout the stable branch ("git checkout geary-0.11"), or
download a stable source tarball
(https://download.gnome.org/sources/geary/0.11/), or just get it from
Debian ("apt-get source geary").
If you still want to try out git master, have a look at the INSTALL
file in the source tree for the missing dependencies. At a guess, you
probably need to install libenchant-dev.
Let me know how it goes!
