Turns out this was caused by my forgetting to include the new database upgrade script in the list of files to install.  The issue is fixed in master now, thanks to Adam's vigilance.  Apologies to anyone whose mail may have gotten lost!

WIth the latest master, if I send a message it appears to work (the message isn't visible in my Outbox) but the message is never sent: it doesn't show up in Sent Mail in Gmail. As far as I can tell the sent message is simply lost.

This problem is serious enough that I thought I should report it on the mailing list. I'd be cautious about updating to master until the Geary developers have had a chance to look at this.
