As I know the Mac OS X is based on a customized FreeBSD 4.4 around a Mach
3.0 kernel. The Darwin's implementation of BSD includes many of the POSIX
APIs and I know that many many applications are available for Mac OS X
following FreeBSD compiling instructions. I don't know if this could work
also for glib, it's only a suggestion.
