Since upgraded to openSUSE 12.3, currently Gnome Version: 3.6.2-2.1.1

Found this: 

linux-bnn6:~ # systemctl --full --all | grep -i 'gd'
syslogd.service                                                                
                      error  inactive dead          syslogd.service
linux-bnn6:~ # 




and this: 

linux-bnn6:~ # systemctl status gdm
gdm.service
          Loaded: error (Reason: No such file or directory)
          Active: inactive (dead)

linux-bnn6:~ # 



So trying to figure out what is calling for what is not there...
