Hello,
on Slackware 14.0 gdm-3.6.1 doesn't start immediately but after approximately
one minute. In :0-slave.1.log I get two following warnings after the starting:
gdm-simple-slave[3078]: WARNING: Failed to set slave bus name on parent:
Timeout was reached
gdm-simple-slave[3078]: WARNING: Failed to give slave programs access to the
display. Trying to proceed.
:0.log contains the standard Xorg messages without any EE; :0-slave.log is
empty. No pam errors/warnings.
Gdm was compiled with pam support. GDM-3.4.1 on the same system doesn't have
this issue. Debugging for gdm was enabled (Enable=yes in [debug] section in
/etc/gdm/custom.conf)
Does anybody know what causes the issue?
Best regards
Eugene
