[gdm-list] Error building master with jhbuild: No rule to make target `dconf-override-db`

I am attempting to build GDM master (last commit: 898fa07cd96ec...)
with jhbuild, but each time that I start the build, `make` eventually
fails with:

*** No rule to make target `dconf-override-db', needed by `install-data-hook'.
Leaving directory `/home/gnomedev/projects/build/gnome/gdm/data'

Has anyone encountered this problem before?  How do I fix it?
