I do not see any useful message from your log posted.

Could you check is there any cores and useful logs under /var/log/gdm.

Besides, you could enable gdm debug by adding "Enable=true" under
[debug] section in file /etc/gdm/custom.conf. Then you should get some
logs in messages.log.
