The latest version of those patches are here:

I haven't rebased those for a while. I probably will when I upgrade to
F10, but I don't expect these to be applied to gdm. There's been zero
interest (or even acknowledgment) from any of the maintainers in 6
months, and I don't see that suddenly changing.
