[gdm-list] Request for new GDM

I'm not sure if this is the right place to send
this (is there a bugzilla site for RFEs?), but we
have a problem with the current GDM when creating
a PAM-based "kiosk mode" (i.e. no user login
required - uids are anonymously and randomly
assigned and the user is automatically logged in
and given a pre-defined desktop).

Basically, if the PAM conversation function is
never called (i.e. the PAM modules return
PAM_SUCCESS without ever invoking it),
you shouldn't see the GDM screens at all.

It would be nice if GDM didn't render the screen
until pam_conv is called (which it will be
typically when prompting for the user name or
whatever the dialog may be).

If Jon can take this into account during the
rewrite, it'd be very helpful.
