Extened "Enter" key

Ok, so I got thru having the Xserver turn off our numlock and
using setnumlock to turn it back on but.......
is there anyway to bind the extended "enter" key for use when logging in?
If someone says, just use the normal enter key, well that's just fine but
watch some users logging in and see how many hit the extened enter key.
If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.
