Hello,
I wrote a desklet (and control) to cycle through a collection of
pictures and display image captions (IPTC,Jpeg Comment, EXIF) if
present. This is my first attempt at this and my first dive in to
python. I'm attaching the files here to see if anyone has any
constructive criticism, things to address, and/or suggestions before
posting on the website.
Files got dropped. Here is a link:

I've posted this up on the gdesklets website. I believe this would be a
good inclusion for the 'default' desklet package that has been mentioned
on the mail list. Vista and OSX provide a similar widgets in their
default installs. Thoughts?

I can't find them on gdesklets.org. Are you sure you submitted them?

If the desklet and control prove to be stable and look nice then I think we should add them to the desklet-package.

Hi there,
I met the same problem. I also submit some desklets Log in as Legacy.
I can't see the desklets if I didn't log in.
Only if I log in as Legacy, I could see the desklets I submit and Sean submit.

I was trying to run SlideShow but for some reason it didn't work for me.
I put the Control both under ~/.gdesklets/Controls/ and /usr/lib/gdesklets/Controls but it still can't find the Control.
Any clue?

Thanks
