How to disable dus in GNOME 2.16.0 desktop/control-centor/gnome-settings-daemon?

Dear All,

I just installed gnome2.16.0 with garnome system.
But when I start I found the gnome-settings-daemon can not be successfully started,

After investigation I found the dbus system in my PC is not started. As I did not have root account.
I could not start dbus well.
As I do not need the dbus system currently, could I disable the dbus in gnome-settings-daemon?

Is there anyone know that?
