True. The bootstrap meta-garball will be omitted when running commands
in the top level dir. This is for sanity reasons. Remember the part in
the README about "if you don't know you need something from bootstrap,
you don't need it". Without this a 'make install' in the root dir would
be potentially harmful for most users.

Hmm... Although recommended to use the version provided by GARNOME, it
is not a requirement. You actually can use a Mozilla/Firefow version
already installed on the system.
