Hi Guys,
This issue is getting very dodgy now. I've checked the build and for
some reason all build except this one are building pango with xft
included. I'm not sure what has changed as I've checked all the files
that I could think of that could cause this issue. I've checked the
makefile for pango and it looks identical and so does the gar.conf.mk.
So I'm out of ideas why this is happening and started to include xft and
fontconfig to the pango makefile to resolve the issue.
I just don't get it why the pango build on 2.11 behaves differently then
the 2.10.1.1 or 2.10 snapshot :-(
Cheers,
Stef

Sounds as though gtk+ is picking up an older pango install without Xft
configured -- at the moment, GARNOME doesn't explicitly depend on Xft,
although there is a local copy in bootstrap/ if you don't already have
it installed.
I would like to see if the 2.11 development snapshot now works with gcc
4.0.0 (living dangerously) as well. Is there anything that could be done
to resolve this error ?
You *do* know how to live on the edge, don't you :)
Regards,
Paul
