I did. Ages and ages ago. Posted to the garnome list. It should be in the 
archives. If not, replacing "-iname foo*bar" with "-name 
[Ff][Oo][Oo]*[Bb][Aa][Rr]" isn't exceedingly difficult.

Oh, and grep'ing for Solaris in /etc/release is a _terrible_ way to do OS 
detection. uname is there for a reason. /etc/release is only required to 
determine which sub-sub-sub flavour of Linux you're dealing with.

I did, and have. It's been a total waste of time so far where Gnome is 
concerned.

And the entire world isn't GNU. If you want to live in a GNU-only world, I 
can't stop you. But I keep trying to make things work for more folks. I 
suggest you google my name before accusing me of not contributing to open 
source projects.
