Re: garnome snapshot 18Aug2005

Hi Bob,

I did't try adjusting the pkg_config_path in gar.con.mk. I'll give that a spin in the next round.

Adding gob to bootstrap solved the issue for gnome-pilot. After ages it finaly compiles to the end. Hurayyyyyyyyyyyy. I always had issues withit because of pilot-link 0.12 but now a patch has been added for that issue.

gimp though is still not acting nicely :-(

Thanks,

Stef

Hi Guys,

These are the walls I keep hitting

1 cairo doesn't pickup on my libpng.pc files in /usr/local/lib/pkgconfig (fixed by copying the file) 2 libexif.pc is not found by nautilus copied libexif.pc to the garnome pkgconfig folder
Have you tried adding /usr/local/lib/pkgconfig to gar.config.mk like
this:

PKG_CONFIG_PATH :=
$(libdir)/pkgconfig:/usr/lib/pkgconfig:/usr/local/lib/pkgconfig

Maybe we should add this?

3 dia needs gcc 4 fixes for compilation (patch attached)
4 gimp needs gimp-print and pygtk (patches attached)

I'm now hitting a wall for two issues

When compiling gnome-pilot I'm running into this issue:

Making all in libgpilotdCM
make[3]: Entering directory `/usr/download/garnome-2.11-20050819.1645/office/gnome-pilot/work/main.d/gnome-pilot-2.0.13/libgpilotdCM'
no --always-private-header -w gnome-pilot-conduit-management.gob
make[3]: no: Command not found
make[3]: *** [gnome-pilot-conduit-management.c] Error 127
Do you have gob installed?

[gnome chaucer ~]$ rpm -q gob2
gob2-2.0.11-3

I think Joseph posted a garball for gob to the list yesterday...

Bob
