It works like that.

I didn't want to put a separate script in gdm's session list, really,
since only one user can run Garnome (someone else shouldn't chose
Garnome since it's not installed in their PATHs as dictated by the
script). Therefore, I thought $HOME/.xsession should work. Which it
didn't...

But, as I said, it works great that way. Thanks a lot for your patience!
