vte error, cannot install garnome

I'm getting this error whilst using garnome;

I've read through the archives and installed ncurses-devel, ran make clean on 
both the 'gnome-terminal' and 'vte' directories and re-run make install but 
i'm still getting the same error. Could anyone help me out?
